The limited edition DT Swiss 350 DEG hubs represent a significant step forward in the development of high-end cycling components. These hubs utilize the modern Ratchet DEG engagement system with 72 teeth, derived from the proven Ratchet system known from the more expensive DT Swiss models. The new DEG (Double Engagement) is characterized by two massive ratchets with a larger diameter that lock tightly together under the pressure of springs. Compared to the classic Ratchet system or Ratchet EXP, the DEG ratchets are larger, sturdier, and have an optimized angle of engagement, ensuring immediate and reliable coupling.

Thanks to the use of 72 teeth, the DT Swiss 350 DEG hubs offer a very short engagement angle, which means practically instant response with every pedal stroke. This is a crucial advantage especially in technically demanding situations, such as steep climbs, navigating rocky sections, or dynamic accelerations out of corners. The engagement is extremely sensitive with minimal pedal dropout, allowing riders more precise and efficient bike handling.

DT Swiss 350 DEG hubs are designed with a focus on maximum reliability and durability. The new ratchet design provides a larger contact surface around the entire circumference, which distributes load significantly more evenly compared to regular pawl hubs. This results in increased wear resistance, better power transfer, and long-term functionality even under intensive use in challenging conditions.

The hubs are exclusively available as a complete set (front + rear) in BOOST standard (110x15 mm front and 148x12 mm rear) with flanges for classic J-bend spokes in a 32-hole variant. You can choose between cassette bodies for SRAM XD or Shimano Microspline. Another practical advantage of these hubs is their easy serviceability: there's no need to remove the threaded ring when replacing bearings, allowing you to easily disassemble the entire hub using just a plastic mallet.

Compared to the premium DT 240 DEG hubs, which have 90 teeth, the DT 350 DEG are somewhat more robust, using larger 6902 type bearings, have a less lightweight body, and are therefore slightly heavier. However, they offer an excellent balance between price, performance, and reliability, which is particularly appreciated by All Mountain and Enduro riders who prefer technical riding and need absolutely precise and lightning-fast pedal engagement.
