The ultra-light DNA 2 in 1 Ultra shorts were specifically designed for ultra running - the stretchy shorts with a liner fit snugly even without a drawstring, reducing unpleasant friction and the potential for chafing.
Stretch compression inner shorts have no hem, thus preventing uncomfortable shifting and chafing during long runs.
The materials used are soft and very comfortable on the skin while also providing excellent sweat-wicking from the body.
The shorts feature perforation throughout the entire length of the lower legs and also in the upper part of the shorts for enhanced air circulation thanks to Active Airflow.
The shorts are equipped with a wide, comfortable, stretchy waistband, which can be further adjusted with an inner drawstring.
Adequate space for gels, soft flasks, or energy bars is provided by several mesh pockets as well as a zippered pocket on the back.
Mesh is a barrier material that is made from connected strands. These strands can be made of fiber, metal or any flexible material. The mesh fibers are joined together to form a mesh that has many different uses and applications. Mesh fabric can be highly durable, strong and flexible. They are known and commonly used in cases where liquid, air and fine particles need permeability.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
