The Dynafit TLT8 Expedition CR Women, weighing only 1,040 grams (size 25.5), is a true rarity among two-buckle ski touring boots.
To achieve maximum speed when switching from uphill to downhill mode, without compromising comfort and safety during ascent, the boot is equipped with the new intuitive Ultra Lock 4.0 closure with very simple operation. The top buckle on the Dynafit TLT8 Expedition CR Women serves two functions: it acts as a lever for operating the switching mechanism and opens the cuff.
Both cuffs are micro-adjustable, so the size can be easily tailored to the foot size. The system can be easily operated even with gloves on. The cuff rotation range of 60 degrees allows for natural, energy-saving movement even on very steep terrain.
The shortened toe shape, called Speed Nose, allows for an additional weight reduction of 15% and ensures 12% more walking efficiency by moving the pivot point 4mm back. The updated shape of the Dynafit TLT8 Expedition CR Women boot is available in a narrower, sportier profile with a width of 103mm.
It differs from the Dynafit TLT8 Expedition CL Women with the Custom Ready inner liner with a higher weight of 270 g, focusing slightly more on comfort and touring.
In downhill position, the boot can be locked at an angle of 15 or 18 degrees, allowing for dynamic movement downward.
Another advantage of the Dynafit TLT8 Expedition CR Women boots is appreciated when moving on icy surfaces, traversing, or during particularly steep ascents without skis: the boots are compatible with the new ultralight Cramp - In crampons developed in collaboration with SALEWA.
