More informationThe TLT helmet is ultralight, stylish, and also boasts triple certification. This means it meets the standards for skiing, climbing, and cycling.
The helmet is also ISMF approved, making it suitable for demanding skimo races. The TLT is characterized by a flat, minimalist design, reduced padding, and a well-designed ventilation system with generous openings for excellent comfort and ventilation during challenging climbs.
Thanks to its “in-mold” construction using an EPS inner liner and polycarbonate shell, the TLT helmet weighs only 310 grams, offering an exceptional balance between minimal weight and maximum protection. Using a small dial at the back, the helmet size can be easily adjusted exactly to your needs. Additional adjustment options on the head and chin straps ensure a precise fit and thus maximum safety. For a perfectly matched and exceptionally lightweight system, the TLT helmet can be combined with the new DYNAFIT TLT and Speed ski goggles.
The goggles and helmet together ensure the best possible fit. The goggle strap can be exchanged within seconds for the special TLT strap (available separately), which can be clipped on directly. The helmet also features an adjustable, removable visor.
It is available in two sizes S/M (54-58 cm) / L/XL (57-61 cm).
Certifications: ASTM F2040-02 Ski and Snowboard, CPSC biking, EN 1077 B Skiing & Snowboarding, EN 1078 Biking, EN 12492 Climbing & Mountaineering, UIAA 106.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.
