The Men's Ultra 100 shoes, characterized by maximum cushioning, traction, and excellent energy return, are specifically designed for ultra-long distances.
The Ultra 100 men's trail running shoes are the ideal running partner above 42,195 km (marathon) and perform impressively on any terrain.
The shoe features a Maximum fit, which ensures excellent grip. A 6 mm drop caters to the preferences of dedicated ultra runners.
For the outsole, developers used a Vibram® Megagrip compound, setting a standard in competitive sports for top performance. New Vibram traction lugs are used in the Ultra 100 model for the first time. This innovative concept with 4 mm deep lugs guarantees better traction and perfect grip, allowing runners to move on any surface confidently and precisely.
The midsole offers comfortable cushioning for a responsive feel while remaining sensitive and lightweight. The new material is 20% lighter than traditional EVA midsoles while also boasting an energy return of more than 10%. Along with the Heel Preloader, the anatomically correct heel construction ensures a secure hold and allows for top control and stability. At the same time, it reduces strain on the Achilles tendon.
The Ultra 100 comes with traditional lacing, which can be ideally adjusted to your personal needs. The seamless tongue construction prevents pressure points, and the laces can be securely tucked into the stretch lace cover.
