This lightweight, performance-oriented Ultra 12 running vest, weighing just 190 grams, fits like a second skin and offers quick and easy access to gear without having to remove the vest.
It is divided into a total of 12 compartments, all accessible while running and offering plenty of space. The Ultra 12 also features a removable waterproof pocket for a smartphone and similar items, which you can stow anywhere in the running vest as you like.
The non-stretch vest serves as the foundation for the Ultra 12, ensuring perfect stability in rough terrain and during fast descents. If you're out with less gear, the back compartment can be compressed using two hooks, keeping everything compact and snug against your back. The fit of the vest can also be perfectly tailored to your size and body shape with two stretch closures and a side adjustment system.
Another special feature of the Ultra 12 running vest is the pole attachment. You have a choice of three different options: front vertical, back vertical, or back horizontal as a "V" – whichever you prefer.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
Mesh is a barrier material that is made from connected strands. These strands can be made of fiber, metal or any flexible material. The mesh fibers are joined together to form a mesh that has many different uses and applications. Mesh fabric can be highly durable, strong and flexible. They are known and commonly used in cases where liquid, air and fine particles need permeability.
