Easton EC70 AX combines EC70 carbon rims with proven X5CL hubs and 28 Sapim spokes.
Rims with an internal width of 24 mm are designed for gravel tires 35 mm and wider. They provide more confidence and better control in challenging terrains, on uneven surfaces, or in gravel races.
Due to their lightweight and high durability ensured by the carbon material, EC70 AX wheels are race-ready for gravel competitions. The Easton Overland team and riders from the SDG Muscle Monster team tested these wheels, racing prototypes in the DK200 (Dirty Kanza, 200 miles), with Amity Rockwell winning the DK Queen title and Amanda Nauman finishing 6th. At the Lost and Found 2019, Michael Van Den Ham finished in 4th place and Craig Richey secured 6th place.
