When a young rider goes all-in on the trail, they need shorts that can keep up without holding them back. Endura MT500jr kids’ shorts are built for playful riding as well as honest miles off-road—where durability, comfort, and freedom of movement matter.
Endura MT500jr kids’ shorts Black are based on the adult MT500 range and give kids a similarly “trail-ready” functional fit. The tough yet stretchy fabric helps handle sudden changes of direction in corners and during drops, without the shorts pulling or twisting. The cut is knee-pad friendly, so pads fit comfortably underneath without restricting pedaling. Two zippered pockets are also a practical touch, keeping small essentials secure and close at hand.
The foundation is high-stretch nylon, combining low weight with solid durability for mountain biking. The shorts feature a zip fly, and the waist is complemented by an adjustable velcro strap, ensuring a secure fit when layering or as kids grow. Comfort on longer rides is supported by a flat seam, which helps reduce the risk of chafing in sensitive areas. The design is without a chamois, but the inside of the waistband includes the Clickfast system for attaching compatible Endura inner shorts.
These kids’ MTB shorts in black make sense for bike-park laps, trail riding, and family rides when the pace picks up. If you’re looking for durable, comfortable mountain biking shorts that are ready for pads and year-round changing conditions, MT500jr are a reliable choice.
