Etape Virt Light men's cycling helmet with integrated rear safety LED light. The light features 6 bright red LED diodes and 3 functions (steady light + 2 types of flashing).
The helmet is equipped with In-mold technology, ensuring its strength and safety. It has 20 ventilation openings, an insect net, and a practical removable visor. It also includes reflective elements for better visibility and a convenient QFS fastening system that can be easily operated with one hand.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
