Description

Slip into winter with ease and comfort

Looking for cross-country skis that give you calm, confidence, and joy with every step? The Fischer COMFORT CRUISER + COMPACT 2021/22 set is exactly that – smooth glide, easy kick, and stability that supports you on a groomed track as well as in softer snow around it. Just step in and let the winter landscape carry you along without unnecessary effort.

Key benefits you’ll appreciate from the very first outing

These touring cross-country skis for classic style are designed for relaxed movement and long-lasting durability. Thanks to Efficient Forward technology, they flex more easily during the kick phase, so you’ll get a good push-off even with less effort. The smart Vario Crown grip pattern (unevenly profiled “scales”) combines reliable traction uphill with a quiet, smooth glide on the flat. The wider, more stable profile also adds a sense of control and confidence – whether you’re a beginner or a recreational skier who simply wants to enjoy every kilometer.

Thoughtful construction for comfort and durability

The ski core uses a lightweight construction with Air Channel channels that reduce the weight of the wood core and distribute pressure evenly along the entire length. The base is made from a durable Sintec-type material with a universal grind for easy maintenance and dependable glide in typical winter conditions. The kick zone is formed by the aforementioned Vario Crown, so there’s no need for grip waxes – just take care of the glide zones and you’re ready to go. The skis come without steel edges, keeping the weight low and the handling pleasantly predictable both on groomed tracks and in softer tracks.

COMPACT binding: simple, comfortable, tool-free

Included in the set is the touring COMPACT binding on the IFP/Turnamic platform. It offers convenient automatic step-in and reliable release at the press of a lever. The binding position can be adjusted without tools – forward for more secure grip and kick, backward for longer glide. The binding is compatible with NNN and Prolink soles (Turnamic standard), so it pairs easily with most current touring boots. The whole set is designed for recreational classic skiing and smooth, energy-efficient movement through the winter landscape.

How to choose the right length

Ski length is chosen with regard to your height and weight; for touring, longer skis are typically preferred for better glide, while lighter skiers may prefer shorter skis for easier handling. The right stiffness ensures that Efficient Forward works exactly as intended – an easy kick without overexertion and a calm, quiet glide.
