Kästle XP20 Skate are high-performance cross-country skating skis developed with the participation of professional athletes.
Their core is made from lightweight Paulownia wood, used in the tip and tail of the ski for optimal flexibility, combined with an aramid honeycomb in the center of the ski, which ensures excellent torsional stiffness and very low weight.
A hand-finished UM1 structure base, designed for World Cup racers, guarantees optimal glide in variable snow conditions and also on wet fine-grained snow.
The fibre structure is enclosed in a torsion box made of ultra-lightweight paulownia wood, which Kästle calls UL Wood. It provides optimum torsional and bending stiffness at minimum weight.
