When you want to speed up while still staying relaxed, cross-country skis do half the work for you. Kästle XA10 Skate Medium cross-country skis will support you with confident glide and through your first skating lessons. On groomed tracks, you’ll find a rhythm that makes you want to do one more lap.
The skate construction holds its line during push-off and helps maintain stability while you’re still fine-tuning your skating technique. You’ll notice it most on harder, faster trails.
The medium stiffness delivers a balanced feel underfoot. The skis feel predictable when transferring weight and forgive small stance mistakes.
The smooth plus - UM1 base promotes a fluid glide without unnecessary friction. That makes it easier to focus on rhythm and leg work.
The core made from poplar and Paulownia brings a more lively response and pleasant flex. The ski reacts more quickly without feeling twitchy.
Ski type: skate for cross-country skiing.
Weight is 610 g per ski at a length of 173 cm.
The sidecut is 42-45-44 for more confident tracking.
The NIS mounting plate makes it easier to choose compatible bindings.
Kästle XA10 Skate Medium are men’s and versatile cross-country skis aimed at beginners who want a sensibly fast improvement in technique. You’ll appreciate the calm, steady behavior during push-off and a more confident glide on groomed trails. If you’re looking for lightweight skate skis with a predictable feel, this model fits the bill.
