Rossignol X-ium R-Skin Stiff-XC classic skis, suitable for experienced skiers and racers, excel in a wide range of conditions thanks to their versatile flexibility and camber.
The construction, stiffness, and camber of the skis are tuned for heavier weights, which is why they are labeled as Stiff. The simple construction with a Nomex Honeycomb core, complemented by poplar wood on the sides and an extra thin ski profile at the tip (R-Tip), ensures an ideal transfer of energy and power while keeping the ski lightweight.
Improved stability is aided by the active top layer of the skis, Activ Cap. The ski is torsionally stiffer but still follows the terrain well, providing excellent glide. The skis are equipped with a high-quality mohair strip focused mainly on providing excellent glide under any snow conditions without the need for kick waxes.
The R-skin strip can be easily replaced after wear (approximately 1000 - 1500km) with a new one. The Integrated Fixation Plate (IFP) is built into the ski and is compatible with various TURNAMIC binding types. This binding system does not restrict the ski's flexibility and enables optimal energy transfer. The bindings can be easily moved along the plate, allowing the skier to adapt the ski's behavior to different snow conditions or personal preferences.
