Climbing on skins has a special kind of calm, where you hear only the snow and your own breathing. Fischer Transalp 86 CTI/PRO ski touring skins keep up with your pace and your desire to go further. And when you’re rewarded at the summit, you can be sure the ascent went without unnecessary compromises.
The blend of 70% mohair and 30% nylon balances smooth glide with reliable grip on the climb. It’s ideal for ski mountaineering when you want to conserve energy steadily throughout the whole tour.
The Tour touring designation is a great fit for regular climbs as well as longer traverses, where you’ll appreciate clear feedback from the snow. The skins perform steadily in changing conditions, from refrozen slabs to softer spring firn.
The front-to-rear attachment helps keep the skin securely on the ski, without unnecessary shifting. When handling it with gloves on, the whole system feels practical and natural.
The grey colour is understated and doesn’t draw attention in the terrain. Your set stays clean, coordinated, and functional.
