The Fizik Kassis cycling helmet is an excellent choice for MTB and E-bike rides.
With its robust construction and extended coverage, it provides reliable protection even in the toughest terrain. Adjustable at the forehead and nape, it allows precise fitting according to the shape of the head, significantly enhancing the helmet's comfort and stability.
The lightweight and thin padding supports optimal thermoregulation. The integrated MIPS Air Node system efficiently dissipates rotational forces upon impact without compromising ventilation or comfort.
For better visibility, the helmet is equipped with a removable rear light with USB recharging.

Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
