A minimalist MTB helmet for aspiring beginner riders.
Multi inmould construction consists of a polycarbonate base complemented by an EPS insert. The extended design in the temple and nape areas provides additional protection.
Optimal adjustment to the circumference and shape of your head, including height adjustment, is made possible by the IAS 3.0 and FAS systems.
The padding is quick-drying and can be removed, washed, or even replaced.
Weight: 290 g (52-56 cm), 300 g (56-59 cm), 355 g (59-61 cm).
As with the In-Mold construction, polystyrene is compressed and injected into the polycarbonate shell, forming an isolated whole. The difference is the use of the inside of the helmet and the back for more protection of the skull.
EPS is expanded polystyrene. It is a strong and rigid material with a cellular structure, composed of 2% polystyrene and the rest is air.
The fastening mechanism located under the chin has several positions and can be easily adjusted with one hand while riding. Its flat design prevents twisting in the hands. Monomatic® is, without exception, standard equipment on all Uvex helmets.
The quick adjustment system of the helmet straps allows for optimal helmet position adjustment. The helmet sits firmly on the head at all times and the straps stay in place.
