Special oil recirculation shock absorber design offers the rider top-notch performance. The dual-piston internal operation always ensures optimal ground contact, whether uphill or downhill. Various adjustment options guarantee that you'll find the perfect setup. Additionally, the low-friction Kashima coating reduces the breakaway force.

This shock absorber features an enlarged "LV" air chamber, resulting in a more linear spring characteristic.

Dual Piston System (DPS)
This system has three driving settings (Open, Medium, Firm). This means the rider can adapt the shock to the respective terrain at any time. The double piston design offers complete locking, better control over handling, and unprecedented efficiency. The way the shock operates in lock mode differs significantly from how it operates in open and medium modes. In the open mode, the pressure level can be finely tuned across 10 levels to match the conditions.

EVOL
The air chamber called EVOL features increased volume for the negative air chamber. EVOL stands for "Extra Volume." This setting is also expected to positively impact suspension quality by reducing the shock's breakaway force. This leads to better traction and a softer response. At the same time, the characteristic curve can be slightly raised in the mid-range of the spring path, making it more linear. The rear with the Fox Float shock is expected to be much more performant.

Metric installation dimensions
With the introduction of metric installation dimensions, manufacturers aim to standardize the standards. In the future, there shouldn't be so many different variants. Additionally, a similar linear gradation of different dimensions of length and stroke is sought, as is already the case with suspension forks. By the way, these shocks offer more space inside, as the hole spacing was usually slightly increased for the same stroke length. This allows for optimization of function and reliability.
