Fox Ranger Water Pants are water-resistant MTB pants designed to protect your legs while riding in rain, mud, and wet conditions, yet remain relatively lightweight and comfortable.
They use a lightweight 2.5-layer material with a water column and breathability of approximately 5,000 mm / 5,000 g/m²/24h, fully taped seams, and feature a DWR finish that repels water, dirt, and mud.
Zip pockets keep small items dry, and the lower legs have a snap opening that allows for easy putting on and taking off over shoes or without them.
The material is recycled polyester, which reduces the ecological footprint.
The pants have a slimmer ("slim/tapered") leg fit, which helps while pedaling and riding off-road, and prevents catching on the chain.
Durable Water Repellent (DWR) is a durable coating added to fabrics at the factory to make them water repellent (hydrophobic). While the coating is effective, it also wears off and as such is recommended to be renewed/maintained with impregnating agents.
