Giant Fathom E+ EX is a trail-oriented electric mountain bike, equipped with accessories for everyday use. It’s aimed at riders who want one bike for both forest trails and urban commuting in the same mid-performance category. In the EX build, it combines a high-torque motor, a large battery, and practical accessories.
The frame is made from ALUXX aluminum alloy and uses a 148x12 mm thru-axle for the rear end. The Overdrive 1.125"–1.8" head tube increases front-end stiffness under braking and when holding a line. The integrated KSA40 mount allows a kickstand to be fitted without modifying the frame. Front suspension is handled by an SR Suntour XCR34 2CR coil with 130 mm travel and a 15x110 mm Boost axle.
Drivetrain: Shimano Cues shifting runs a 1x10 setup with a Shimano Cues 10-speed rear derailleur. The Shimano Cues 11–48T cassette works with a Shimano Linkglide CN-LG500 chain.
Brakes: Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes use 180 mm rotors front and rear. Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers have a light action and offer good power modulation.

Compared to purely sporty hardtails, it adds practical equipment while keeping trail-ready parameters.
