Superior XC 6.9 mountain bike Matte Dark Red/Red is a sporty hardtail for XC trails and fast-paced trail rides. It sits in the mid-performance category, where the balance of functional components and a durable frame is key. It’s aimed at riders who care about efficient pedaling and confidence in technical terrain.
The frame is made from Alu 6061 T6 aluminum alloy with Double Butted tubing and Smooth Welding technology for clean welds. Sport Geometry is built around a stable riding position for longer climbs and precise line control. The cable routing is integrated, which simplifies servicing and protects the housings on the trail. The bottom bracket uses the threaded BSA 73 mm standard.
Drivetrain: The SHIMANO DEORE SL-M5100-R shifter runs a 1x11 setup and uses a RAPIDFIRE Plus lever. The SHIMANO DEORE CS-M5100 cassette offers an 11–51 tooth range, and the hub is SHIMANO with bearings in the freehub body.
Brakes: SHIMANO MT200 hydraulic disc brakes use SHIMANO SM-RT10 rotors. Rotor diameter is 180 mm front and 160 mm rear.
Wheels and tires: The wheels are built on STARS J25D rims for disc brakes with 32 spokes. CST Jack Rabbit tires measure 29x2.25".
Cockpit: ONE Alloy handlebars have a 31.8 mm diameter and 12 mm rise. The ONE Sport stem is aluminum, and the ONE Sport grips are Lock-On.
The combination of a 6061 T6 frame and sporty geometry supports quick acceleration and predictable handling when changing direction. The air-sprung fork with 120 mm of travel improves control over roots and rough surfaces. The 11–51 tooth cassette range helps maintain cadence on steep climbs even without a front derailleur. The 29" wheels with 2.25" tires carry speed on gravel and improve rollover capability in rocky sections.
This bike is intended for experienced riders who want a hardtail for XC circuits, marathons, and fast off-road training. You’ll appreciate the simplicity of a 1x11 drivetrain and easy maintenance thanks to the threaded BSA bottom bracket. In this class, it’s a choice for those who prefer 29" wheels and 120 mm of travel over a purely race-focused setup.
