Fixture II MIPS is a helmet designed for the terrain, and its shape is derived from much more expensive models by Giro. It has an extended profile at the back, providing enhanced occipital protection.
MIPS is a slip layer between the EPS shell (the body of the helmet) and the internal padding. In the event of an angled impact (for example, when your head catches on a branch), the EPS shell of the helmet rotates a few millimeters over the MIPS layer, thus protecting the head and brain from a sharp rotational jerk.
The helmet is excellently ventilated thanks to 16 vents and fits perfectly on your head with the help of the Roc Loc Sport adjustment system, which can be easily tightened with one hand using the adjustment wheel and is compatible with ponytails.
