The Isode II model brings proven design and efficient ventilation inspired by Giro's top road helmets into a lightweight and budget-friendly package. Compact shape, low weight, and sophisticated ventilation clearly follow models commonly seen in the professional peloton.
The Roc Loc® Sport retention system with an intuitive dial takes care of comfortable and quick size adjustment, ensuring the helmet fits perfectly. Comfort is further enhanced by pleasant, quick-drying padding.
The helmet is equipped with 19 ventilation openings interconnected by deep internal channels, optimizing airflow throughout the structure. This results in quick heat and moisture evacuation, helping to keep the head cool even during intense rides.
The result is a pleasant climate and higher comfort on every kilometer.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
