The Industry Nine ISO 6B Hydra Classic is a rear hub that is handcrafted from start to finish in a machine shop. From machining and milling 7075-T6 aluminum for shells, axles, and housings to cutting A2 steel and the in-house anodizing lab - every step of design, engineering, manufacturing, and assembly is conducted on-site according to strict standards.

ISO hubs spin on excellently sealed steel industrial bearings, come with flanges for 32 straight-pull spokes, and have 6 holes for disc mounting. The hub weighs just 286 g.
Hydra denotes the ratchet system in the freehub. Industry Nine hubs feature an exceptionally smooth freehub operation equipped with six pawls, each having two opposing teeth. The result is a mere 0.52 degrees per engagement, totaling 690 clicks over 360 degrees.
