Kästle RX10 Classic Skin are racing cross-country skis for classic style, developed with the participation of professional athletes.
Their core is made from lightweight Paulownia wood, used in the tip and tail of the ski for optimal flexibility, combined with an aramid honeycomb in the center of the ski, which ensures excellent torsional stiffness and very low weight.
The hand-polished UM1 structure base, intended for World Cup racers, guarantees ideal glide in variable snow conditions and also on wet fine-grained snow.
Thanks to the mohair strip integrated into the kick zone of the base, there is no need to use grip waxes. The strip guarantees excellent climbing properties under virtually all conditions with air temperatures between +10 °C and -30 °C.
The fibre structure is enclosed in a torsion box made of ultra-lightweight paulownia wood, which Kästle calls UL Wood. It provides optimum torsional and bending stiffness at minimum weight.
