The foundation of this bike is an ALUXX SL aluminum frame with a modern design. It includes a more relaxed fork with a head angle of 66°, providing improved handling during descents and technical sections. The frame's geometry is fully optimized for 29" wheels. With 29" wheels, you can enhance your ability to overcome obstacles like roots or rocky sections, thanks to easier rolling over obstacles.
Excellent front suspension is provided by the Giant Crest 34 air fork with 130 mm of travel, which perfectly smooths out the terrain and eliminates both large and small bumps. For maximum comfort on descents, there's a dropper seatpost, and wider tires offer even more confidence. The bike is ready for tubeless operation – modern tubeless technology improves ride characteristics due to lower tire pressure and significantly reduces the risk of punctures.
This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
The oversized fork steerer aims to increase the stiffness of the front of the frameset and steering for precise control. Oversized headset bearings (bottom 1 1/4" and top 1 1/8" on road bikes and bottom 1 1/2" and top 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and tapered fork steerer are included for optimal steering stiffness .
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter wide bottom-bracket design (92-millimeter wide for off-road bikes). Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
