Description

The new Magped Gravel magnetic pedals are an innovation for gravel bikes.

The patented magnetic mechanism on both sides allows for safe, quick, and easy detachment of the foot from the pedal.

The risk of falls and injuries is reduced to an absolute minimum compared to pedals with fixed attachment.

Magped pedals are modern and of high quality, made from xCarbon with a titanium axle. The weight, including the patented magnet system, is only 212 g per pair.

With a magnetic force of 200 N, the shoe is magnetically held on the pedal with up to 45 kg of pulling force. The pulling force acts mainly vertically, and the pedal can be detached from the side almost without noticeable resistance. However, quick and easy detachment in critical situations directly upward is also not an issue.

The pedals allow for slight shoe rotation, thereby protecting the joints while pedaling. Similarly, the position can be adjusted forward and backward without changing the pulling force, allowing for easy finding of the ideal position for getting in and out.

The stainless special steel insert can be mounted on any SPD-compatible cycling shoe using 2 screws in just a few minutes. Unlike other systems, dirt is no issue. Additionally, the risk of tripping while walking is reduced, and walking comfort is significantly improved.
