The new Magped SPORT2 safety magnetic pedals are an innovation for mountain bikes and e-bikes. The redesigned SPORT AL version not only shines with higher stability and lower weight, but compared to its predecessor, it also offers more in terms of color options. Various color options now allow you to customize the color scheme of your bike.
The patented magnetic mechanism serves on both sides for the safe, quick, and easy disengagement of the foot from the pedal.
The risk of falling and injury is reduced to an absolute minimum compared to pedals with a fixed connection.
SPORT2 pedals with a 200N magnet are designed for enduro and sport riders weighing 75 kg and above.
Magped pedals are modern, high-quality platforms made from lightweight CNC machined aluminum with a CrMo axle. The weight, including the patented magnet system, is only 458 g (200N magnet, according to the manufacturer) per pair.
Depending on the chosen magnetic strength, the shoe is magnetically held on the pedal with up to 15 kg of pulling force. The pulling force acts primarily vertically, and the pedal can be removed from the side almost without noticeable resistance. Even quick and easy removal in critical situations straight upwards is not a problem.
The pedals allow slight rotation of the shoe, thus protecting the joints while pedaling. Similarly, the position can be adjusted forward and backward without changing the pulling force, allowing you to easily find the ideal position for both ascending and descending.
Height: 18 mm (without pins)
Number of pins: 6 pins per side of the pedal, replaceable
The stainless steel insert can be mounted on any cycling shoe compatible with SPD using 2 screws in just a few minutes. Unlike other systems, dirt is not an issue. Additionally, the risk of tripping when walking is reduced, and walking comfort is significantly improved.

I weigh 100 kg with gear and sometimes ride enduro descents. Is weight a problem?
Vážím i s výbavou 100 kg a občas jezdím end. sjezdy. Není váha problém?
Hello, I need to know whether the weight of these pedals is for a pair or for a single pedal. Best regards ing. Lubomír Novanský
Dobrý den, potřebuji vědět jestli váha těchto pedálů je na pár nebo kus. S pozdravem ing.Lubomír Novanský

The strength of the little screws and the included tool is just ordinary, the first time the Allen shape on both got stripped, so hopefully they’ve got spare sets. Otherwise it really looks like your foot stays firmly on the pedal. So there’s room to improve, but I’ll ride and see. Cheers.
Zdar.
