When the trail starts turning into roots and rocks, you want pedals that hold firm and won’t catch you off guard. Shimano PD-MT520 SPD MTB in silver add confidence to every pedal stroke.
Dual-sided entry from multiple angles speeds up clipping in even on technical sections. The open binding makes it easier to engage, even when the pedal is caked with mud.
The platform around the cleat boosts foot stability and helps distribute pressure on longer climbs. Power transfer is predictable, making it easier to keep your rhythm.
Adjustable release and engagement tension lets you fine-tune the feel to match your riding style. You’ll appreciate it both while learning to use clipless pedals and when riding at pace.
A chromoly spindle and a durable build are designed to handle rougher MTB use. The pedals feel composed even with frequent impacts and contact with the terrain.
The technical model designation is PD-MT520.
The intended use is MTB for off-road riding.
The cleat system is SPD with a recessed cleat in the shoes.
The bearings are sealed bearing cartridge type for low maintenance.
Shimano PD-MT520 SPD are clipless pedals for riders who want reliable performance on trails as well as on everyday rides. The silver, slightly grey finish pairs well with modern frames and components.
Thanks to the platform around the cleat, you get support even when you’re not clipped in right away. Overall, these are well-balanced MTB pedals where confidence, durability, and ease of use matter most.
