The Maxxis Rekon is an aggressive trail tire inspired by the fast Ikon tire, suitable for softer and more challenging terrain.
Wide knobs down the center of the tire provide control during hard braking, while L-shaped side knobs offer support during sharp leaning in corners.
Medium compound configuration used on selected MTB tires. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, but provides better tread wear and less rolling resistance than 3C MaxxGrip.
EXO is a puncture and abrasion resistant material that is added to the sidewalls of many Maxxis MTB and gravel tires. Choose EXO Protection for superior durability in gravel, XC and light trail riding.
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance.
