The Northwave Celsius R Arctic GTX are winter road cycling shoes with functional Koala Gore-Tex.
Thanks to this membrane and the insulated Arctic 4Layer insoles, the shoes provide perfect thermal comfort even in cold weather.
The carbon sole, made from NRG Air Carbon, and the Overlap ultra-fastening technology in the upper construction ensure optimal power transfer.
The material on the toes is reinforced with a coating of thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) to provide greater protection against abrasion. The Easyfit Climaflex ankle cuffs are made from elastic insulating neoprene with a Rattler Gore-Tex membrane. The cuffs feature stitched loops, making it easy to put the shoes on.
The SLW2 wire and dial system ensures easy and quick fastening and optimal tightening, even with winter gloves. For maximum visibility and safety, the shoes are equipped with 360° reflective elements, essential when riding on the road.
Gore-Tex is a registered brand with a history dating back to 1958, often associated with waterproof fabrics. The Gore-Tex material consists of a narrow porous membrane made of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), which is laminated between other textiles, most often nylon or polyester. You can most often come across the term "Gore-Tex membrane".
