The new generation of P Zero Race TLR tires introduces further innovations to one of the most popular models on the market.
The new, improved construction focuses on reducing rolling resistance, which is a key parameter for bicycle tires. One of the main innovations is a thin airtight layer with aramid particles, called SPEEDCore, which covers the inside of the tire. Thanks to the increased flexibility of this rubber compound, the tire becomes faster and more durable. The tire casing is reinforced with 120 TPI nylon fabric and an aramid protective layer that prevents punctures. The tire tread is made from the latest SmartEVO rubber compound, ensuring maximum performance. All these innovative features of the new P Zero Race TLR are manufactured in Italy with an emphasis on quality and excellent performance.
The main use of the tire is for performance and endurance bicycles, marginally for time trial bikes, and during spring, summer, autumn, and marginally winter seasons.
Recommended rim width: 19C
Sizes 26-622 and smaller are not compatible with hookless rims. Sizes 28-622 and larger are compatible with hookless rims according to the ETRTO standard (5bar/73psi max. inflation pressure).
The SmartEVO compound developed by Pirelli uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific properties to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as grip and rolling resistance. The development of the SmartEVO compound has benefited from a wealth of motorsport knowledge drawn from over 100 years of experience. SmartEVO compound offers improved dry and wet grip, while offering lower rolling resistance.
The most powerful tubeless road construction with a unique design that adds an aramid insert to the rubber layer of the tire. This new structure adds strength and support to the tire, but maintains lower stiffness for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip compared to tires with Bead to Bead aramid construction. The construction has 120 TPI. Exclusively for PZERO Race TLR.
