P ZERO Race TLR is among the fastest road tires of this brand. It uses smartEVO compound. This provides low rolling resistance while maintaining excellent handling and control over the bike at high speeds in both dry and wet conditions. This new technology was developed due to Pirelli's expertise in rubber compounds for racing tires, allowing the reduction of rolling resistance, thus enhancing the smooth performance of this tire.
P ZERO Race TLR utilizes new SPEEDCore technology, which strengthens the tire with aramid fibers and increases puncture resistance. Simultaneously, it maintains low rolling resistance.
This tire can also be used with a tubeless system.
The SmartEVO compound developed by Pirelli uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific properties to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as grip and rolling resistance. The development of the SmartEVO compound has benefited from a wealth of motorsport knowledge drawn from over 100 years of experience. SmartEVO compound offers improved dry and wet grip, while offering lower rolling resistance.
The most powerful tubeless road construction with a unique design that adds an aramid insert to the rubber layer of the tire. This new structure adds strength and support to the tire, but maintains lower stiffness for minimal rolling resistance and maximum grip compared to tires with Bead to Bead aramid construction.
