The tire is designed for speed without compromising handling. Thanks to the SmartEVO2 compound, it has very low rolling resistance and performs excellently even in wet conditions. The TLR (tubeless-ready) construction adds comfort, higher grip at lower pressures, and better puncture resistance. The RS variant is tuned for racing – it responds more swiftly and feels "livelier," so you get more out of every watt.

The SmartEVO compound developed by Pirelli uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific properties to achieve an optimal balance of opposing properties such as grip and rolling resistance. The development of the SmartEVO compound has benefited from a wealth of motorsport knowledge drawn from over 100 years of experience. SmartEVO compound offers improved dry and wet grip, while offering lower rolling resistance.
