By utilizing experience from World Tour races and a constant drive for perfection, Pirelli developers have succeeded in creating the most high-performing all-round racing tire of this iconic brand. 

Pirelli P Zero Race is designed to make the most of all the benefits of tube construction in a versatile tire ready for racing, outperforming all previous road tube tires, and even Pirelli's tubulars. After three years of development in collaboration with the fastest riders in the World Tour circuit, Pirelli has succeeded in designing this new tube tire with the new SmartEVO rubber compound and TechBELT construction technology. Intended for both professional cyclists and all cycling enthusiasts.

The tire's primary usage is for performance and endurance bikes, with some application for time-trial bikes, and is suitable for the spring, summer, autumn, and marginally winter seasons.

USED TECHNOLOGIES:

SmartEVO Compound
The new SmartEVO rubber compound uses a blend of 3 different polymers, each providing specific performance qualities to achieve an optimal balance of contrasting properties such as grip and rolling resistance. Pirelli has drawn from its knowledge and experience gained over more than 100 years of developing rubber compounds for motorsport, with products always used in top-tier racing across all disciplines. This extensive knowledge from the development and racing department has allowed Pirelli to create a triple polymer blend with "smart" performance properties for bike tires, forming the basis for the excellent characteristics of the SmartEVO compound - better grip in both dry and wet conditions, and a lower rolling resistance. Pirelli has crafted a performance rubber compound designed and tuned for all modern road cycling disciplines, from local or World Tour races to epic adventures where climate and diverse surfaces require tires to reliably perform at the highest level under all circumstances.

TechBELT
A high-performance carcass structure with an added cut-resistant fabric layer beneath the tread, enabling the tire to offer excellent puncture resistance under a wide range of conditions. The combination of this layer and the casing layers allows achieving the most efficient parameters of rolling resistance and weight for this tube-compatible construction.
