HardWALL

Tire construction technology with a protective layer from bead to bead and with a rubber insert for aggressive off-road riding. Tire construction designed specifically for riding style in challenging terrain – multiple reinforcements built directly into the tire's structure are intended to enhance overall ply durability and allow for more support at lower pressures. With a nylon protective layer from bead to bead, which is an integral part of the casing, and a thick rubber insert over the bead, the HardWALL construction is destined to handle ruthless treatment with ease and provides protection against punctures. Incorporating these reinforcing elements alongside a nylon casing with 60 TPI density contributes to a solid and durable construction that supports reliability and ride quality without compromising on weight and pedal power transmission efficiency.

SmartGRIP

Experience and victories in rally and motocross led Pirelli's developers to invent the innovative SmartGRIP rubber compound. The special compound combines two opposing properties:
a) Cut resistance: guarantees maximum mechanical grip and traction in dry conditions and higher puncture resistance along with longer lifespan.
b) Chemical wet grip: no need to worry about changing conditions, whether it will rain or if there will be muddy and slippery sections on the course.

The result is a longer lifespan of the tire's riding properties, with excellent grip. The tire maintains these riding properties even as the tread wears down. The single-compound composition of SmartGRIP allows for balanced riding properties as the tire wears down. Greater mechanical durability of the rubber also provides higher resistance not only to wear but also to puncture.
