Poc Fornix BC is an improved version of one of POC’s most popular helmets.
Compared to the classic POC Fornix, it offers enhanced protection, is very lightweight, provides excellent ventilation, and remains extremely safe.
The ventilation system can be adjusted by closing some of the vents. The ventilation for POC goggles is also addressed, and they fit perfectly into the helmet.
The top of the core is protected by an aramid layer, which protects in the event of a fall and also disperses the energy generated on impact.
Thanks to the twICEme® NFC medical ID chip, it’s easy to share vital information to assist first responders if rescue first aid is needed.
Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
Thanks to The RECCO® Reflector you will be traceable for rescuers. It is a lightweight passive transponder that consists of a diode and an antenna. This chip system has been used by more than 150 brands of jackets, pants, backpacks, pads, helmets and many other equipment. The system does not wear out except in cases of physical damage and will last forever.
