The new POC Kortal helmet works seamlessly with Devour goggles; they were clearly designed hand in hand to deliver maximum performance together. The helmet is used by many professional athletes, who tested it in the best possible way—by putting it through its paces on thrilling rides.
The helmet also integrates an NFC Medical ID chip, which stores the rider’s medical information and can be used in the event of an accident. RECCO® Reflector.
The helmet’s design is made so that if you’re wearing goggles, they don’t interfere with ventilation. The helmet features extended protection and exceptionally good ventilation. The Kortal helmet is designed primarily for MTB, yet it has also been certified to the Dutch e-bike helmet standard NTA 8776—which only confirms its exceptional quality.

Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. In principle, Mips works between two layers of the helmet shell, which rotate in relation to each other during a fall. This technology is being used by more and more major and minor helmet manufacturers, so if a helmet has this technology, you can tell by the small yellow logo on the outside of the helmet. Currently there are about 5 kinds of Mips system.
Near-Field Communication systém (NFC) is a short-range wireless communication technology. It is built into the helmet shell with a chip and used in the helmet to store medical documentation in the event of an accident. This helps the paramedics to proceed better with respect to the rider's medical card.
Thanks to The RECCO® Reflector you will be traceable for rescuers. It is a lightweight passive transponder that consists of a diode and an antenna. This chip system has been used by more than 150 brands of jackets, pants, backpacks, pads, helmets and many other equipment. The system does not wear out except in cases of physical damage and will last forever.
