POC Tectal Race MIPS is a robust enduro helmet specifically designed for aggressive off-road riding. MIPS technology reduces rotational motion transferred to the brain during angled impacts to the head.
Similar to the POC Octal helmet, it has a Unibody construction, ensuring low weight and extreme rigidity of the helmet as a whole. The PC shell fully lines the EPS core, creating no weak spots. The main difference from the classic Tectal is the aramid content throughout the helmet shell. POC's patented impact protection system - SPIN - is designed to reduce the effects of crashes.
Another benefit is the overall head coverage, which is deeper with more coverage on the nape and temple areas. The helmet features a simple and easy adjustment system for a perfect fit, a goggle clip, an adjustable visor, and a Recco reflector.

Mips is a technology in the form of a special yellow insert inside the helmet, which has the task of reducing rotational forces acting on the head and brain in the event of a crash or fall while riding a bicycle. SPIN (Shearing Pad Inside) is a system of protection of the brain from the rotational forces generated during the rotational force.
