The Rascal children's helmet for a comfortable and safe bike ride.
The helmet is made with in-mold technology and features EPS foam padding for impact absorption. The helmet can be size-adjusted for a head circumference ranging from 51 - 55 cm using the rear DIAL mechanism with a wheel.
It also includes convenient magnetic FIDLOCK fastening for easier one-handed operation, ensuring the child does not pinch their skin.
For increased safety, the front part of the helmet and the nape are extended.
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact.
