R2 Lumen cycling helmet for all types of cycling.
The helmet features an In-Mold construction with an extended rear section for maximum head protection.
On the back, it is equipped with a LED light, which is a great safety feature and increases the cyclist’s visibility in traffic. It can be turned off or on with one hand, without having to stop.
The helmet has 23 ventilation openings, an internal insect mesh, and an antibacterial liner.
A fastening system that adapts to the shape and size of the head in two directions—vertical and horizontal. The fastening system is operated with one hand using a tightening dial.
The Easy Lock system is a simple and quick way to fasten the chin straps, which improves how the helmet sits on the head. The system reduces the risk of the helmet shifting during impact, providing increased head protection.
Weight: S: 240 g, M: 260 g, L: 280 g
In-Mold technology can be found most often in bicycle and ski helmets. The principle consists in injecting compressed polystyrene into a polycarbonate shell at high temperatures and pressures (approx. 330°C). This connection ensures high strength at very low weight. Polystyrene absorbs energy in the event of an impact, but it deforms, which is why the helmet must be replaced after a major impact. Helmets produced by In-Mold technology and associated have a weight of 350-550 g.
