POC VPD Air Back is an extremely lightweight, ventilated, and flexible back protector that provides comfortable, adjustable protection – whether you ski, snowboard, or ride a mountain bike.
The protector has easily adjustable anchor points for the shoulder straps and waist belt, so every user can find the ideal fit and the protector sits comfortably and securely.
VPD (visco-elastic polymer compound) is highly pliable, adapts to the shape of the body, and follows it as you move. On impact, the material stiffens, absorbs and disperses energy, and helps protect you fully. The new generation of the VPD system features an updated compound that is 30% lighter than the previous one.
The protector is certified to EN 1621-2, Level 1 for both cycling and skiing and offers protection with extreme ventilation for maximum comfort. Its minimalist shape protects where needed, without unnecessary bulk.
