Salewa Cristallo Warm AMR men's long-sleeve shirt designed to provide perfect warmth and comfort during active use.
Merino wool combined with polyamide fabric offers excellent moisture-wicking, balanced thermoregulation, and comfort, fitting like a second skin. It is the ideal base layer for your (not only) winter activities.
The name is derived from the mountain Monte Cristallo in the Dolomites, northeast of Cortina. Cristallo provides you with great warmth and comfort for active use.
The materials consist of combined fabrics Alpine Merino Responsive, made from 78% merino wool and 22% polyamide. The wool is spun around a nylon core to make the fabric stronger and more durable. Additionally, its synthetic fibers are enhanced with the patented Responsive technology, which is based on a special blend of natural thermoreactive minerals.
The Salewa Cristallo Warm AMR shirt has a slim fit with a modern design and reinforced sleeves for greater freedom of movement. The high polyamide content improves its durability and mechanical load properties. It is very comfortable to wear and does not chafe.
Merino is a breed or group of breeds of domestic sheep, characterized by a very fine soft wool. Garments made from this wool are very comfortable and non-scratchy. The structure of the fibre and the weaving technology create multiple "air pockets" and thus guarantee thermal comfort of the wearer. The pockets keep the air warm on the body and create very effective insulation. An important characteristic of Merino is also neutralisation of sweat and elimination of odour, which is why Merino wool is often used in winter sportswear.
