Salewa Mountain Trainer 3 Tech Mid GTX will give you confidence on scree, roots, and narrow ridge edges. When the weather turns, you’ll stay dry and can keep going calmly. It’s a boot that keeps up with your pace even in technical terrain.
The GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort membrane protects against getting soaked while maintaining reasonable breathability for all-day hiking. It’s suitable for trekking, demanding hiking, and moving in high-alpine terrain.
The 3F system construction with TPU reinforcements stabilizes the ankle and helps the foot sit precisely in place. On rocky slopes, you’ll appreciate surer footing and less fatigue on longer descents.
The upper made of 1.6 mm suede leather and durable nylon fabric stands up to contact with rock and frequent flexing. A protective TPU rand shields the boot’s perimeter from scuffs.
The Vibram® WTC 3 outsole is built for technical mountain terrain and grips even on wet ground. There’s a TPU insert in the heel, making it possible to use semi-automatic crampons.
The weight of one boot is 720 g in size UK 8.
The height difference between the heel and toe is a 15 mm drop.
The PU midsole supports cushioning and stability under load.
The inner PP insole is reinforced with 27% glass fibers for greater support.
Salewa Mountain Trainer 3 Tech Mid GTX are men’s category B hiking boots for those who go farther than the first viewpoint. They offer protection, stability, and compatibility with semi-automatic crampons when the terrain starts shifting toward winter conditions. The green Faded Green/Forest Night colorway looks understated, but fits right in in the mountains.
