SALEWA® has developed its proprietary, highly robust Powertex CORDURA® fabric specifically for this purpose. Its 3-layer laminate construction ensures protection from the weather, while the ultrathin polyurethane (PU) membrane ensures that moisture from perspiration can escape. The outer layer is made from 94% CORDURA® (polyamide) high abrasion resistant nylon with 6% elastane for greater stretch and freedom of movement.
