SALEWA Pedroc 3 Durastretch 2-in-1 are lightweight men’s softshell pants designed for dynamic mountain activities such as speed hiking or fast hiking in changeable conditions.
Thanks to the functional Durastretch material, the pants are breathable, quick-drying, and stretchy, providing maximum freedom of movement even during intense efforts.
At the same time, they are equipped with a PFAS-free DWR finish that repels light rain and enhances protection in unfavorable weather.
A major advantage is the practical 2-in-1 design – the legs can be easily zipped off, turning the pants into shorts in no time.
This makes it easy to adapt to changing conditions and activity intensity.
The athletic cut supports natural movement on the trail, while the flat waistband with internal adjustment fits well even under a backpack hip belt.
The pants feature two zippered side pockets and a rear mesh pocket for small items, a gusseted crotch for greater comfort, and an overall very low weight of around 300 g.
The material consists of 89% polyamide and 11% elastane, ensuring an optimal combination of durability, stretch, and wearing comfort.
Thanks to their versatility, low weight, and functional design, they are an ideal choice for anyone who wants to move quickly, travel light, and stay unrestricted in the mountains.
Durable Water Repellent (DWR) is a durable coating added to fabrics at the factory to make them water repellent (hydrophobic). While the coating is effective, it also wears off and as such is recommended to be renewed/maintained with impregnating agents.
Fabric developed and patented by Dynafit based on high abrasion resistance. Products made of this light fabric are suitable for high-altitude climbing, trekking and hiking. Durastretch is a combination of nylon (polyamide) and a high content of stretch material. Most products made of this fabric are suitable for wearing all year round, thanks to the excellent sweat wicking. Cordura yarns are also woven in for abrasion resistance.
