A versatile winter backpack designed for ski touring ascents, alpine crossings, and winter climbing. It was constructed with a focus on maximum functionality, comfort, and durability in challenging winter conditions.
Winter activities often entail intense energy expenditure – the body sweats, and it is during these moments that the risk of rapid cooling is present. The backpack is therefore equipped with a Contact Flow Fit back system, which allows better airflow and effective heat dissipation due to reduced contact with the body and integrated 3D ventilation channels. After 15 minutes of wearing, there is a decrease in the temperature in the middle of the back by up to 1.6 °C, which significantly enhances comfort during prolonged movement in winter terrain.
The back panel is complemented by split shoulder straps that do not restrict arm mobility – appreciated during ascents, traverses, and technical climbing.
The backpack is made from extremely durable ROBIC® fabric, which is 60% more tear-resistant than regular nylon and withstands contact with crampons, rocks, and ice tools without any problems.
Salewa Randonnée offers a wealth of smart solutions: quick ski attachment (both parallel and diagonal), mounts for an ice axe and rope, a separate compartment for avalanche equipment (shovel and probe), a side pocket for wet skins, and a fleece pocket for goggles that prevents scratching. All features are easily accessible even when wearing the backpack – ideal for moving in demanding mountainous terrain where every second counts.
