With the Salewa Explorer 18 l batoh Pond backpack, kids’ trips turn into little expeditions you look forward to from the moment you wake up. It sits comfortably on the back and fits everything needed for hiking as well as everyday use.
This kids’ hiking and trekking backpack combines low weight with durability, so it can handle both uphill trails and the bustle of school. The ripstop polyester material helps resist abrasion and minor tears when it comes into contact with rocks or branches.
The Dry Back Contact back system with a padded EVA panel supports airflow and comfortable carrying even at a brisk pace. The backpack sits securely and doesn’t dig in when it’s time to pick up speed or scramble up to a viewpoint.
The practical pocket layout keeps small items organized—things kids love to fish out at the last minute. A zippered pocket protects keys and valuables, while the side pockets keep a bottle within easy reach.
Reflective print improves visibility in low light on the way home or when crossing a parking lot. The PFAS-free finish enhances weather resistance without unnecessary chemicals.
The backpack has a 18-liter capacity for kids’ gear on day trips.
The material is ripstop polyester for increased mechanical durability.
The back panel is padded EVA with the Dry Back Contact system.
The color version is Pond, meaning a blue variant with reflective print.
Salewa Explorer 18 l batoh Pond is a kids’ backpack that makes sense for mountain hikes as well as everyday errands. It offers breathable carry comfort, durable material, and simple gear organization.
It’s designed for kids who want to keep their things with them while still feeling comfortable even with a fuller pack. If you’re looking for a reliable hiking backpack in a smaller volume, it sticks to proven, practical solutions.
