The backpack features a very breathable Dry Back Contact carrying system, waist belt, and double straps that still offer great freedom of movement. The backpack fits closely to the back for higher stability and dynamic movement. 3D air channels placed in the EVA back panel prevent back sweating.
The backpack's durability is ensured by robust, abrasion-resistant 210-denier Regen Robic® nylon, which is up to 60% more resistant to tearing and made from 100% recycled material.
EVA, literally Ethylene-vinyl acetate is also known as Polyethylene-vinyl acetate i.e. PEVA. It is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, as the name suggests. The weight of the vinyl acetate component is in the range of 10 to 40% and the remainder is ethylene itself. Its physical properties is as an elastomeric polymer, i.e. a substance that excels in high elasticity. Thanks to its unique composition, it ranks among the most light yet flexible and soft materials. It is therefore not a classic thermoplastic, which is often commonly used for the production of many products around us.
Ripstop is a fabric with high strength, made using a special technique. Thin threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm, giving it a articulated structure. This provides increased tear strength. In practice, it works by causing the tear to jam against the reinforced fibers which prevent it from continuing. Ripstop was developed in the USA during the Second World War for parachutes.
