Santa Cruz V10 8 CC MX 27 frameset in Gloss Kelp Green is a downhill MTB frame for building a race bike for bikepark tracks and world-class downhill runs. Frame and geometry

The frame is made from a carbon composite with CC Carbon technology and uses VPP (Virtual Pivot Point) suspension with 208 mm of rear travel. The 63° head angle is paired with an IS41 head tube and a Reach-Adjust system with 0 mm and +/-8 mm cups. The geometry lets you change chainstay length using Short, Mid, and Long dropouts and tune the handling to the track. Sizes are S, M, L, and XL; in size M, reach is 446–463 mm and chainstay length is 445–455 mm.

Components

Drivetrain: The frame is designed for a downhill single-ring setup and the use of a chain guide via the ISCG-05 mount. The bottom bracket is 83mm threaded BSA.

Brakes: Brake mounting is Post mount with the option to run a rotor up to 220 mm. The frame is ready for downhill four-piston calipers with high heat capacity.

Wheels and tires: The rear axle is 157x12 mm (Boost+), which requires a matching rear hub. The frameset is designed for an MX 29"/27.5" configuration.

Cockpit: The seat tube uses a 36.4 mm clamp diameter. The frame is built for a low downhill position and a short seatpost depending on the preferred frame height.

The combination of a 29" front wheel and a 63° head angle boosts high-speed stability and increases composure in rough sections. The VPP system with 208 mm of travel is designed for downhill loads and maintaining traction under braking.
