Road miles feel better when you can rely on confident contact with the asphalt. The Schwalbe Lugano 2 road tire in 32 mm width will give you peace of mind even during everyday training.
As a training road tire, it offers a balanced mix of rolling resistance and grip, so you can keep up the pace without unnecessary nerves in corners. The Silica Compound helps you stay confident on standard as well as slightly rougher surfaces.
The KevlarGuard protection reduces the risk of annoying punctures that can ruin an entire ride.
The wire bead makes it easier to seat the tire securely on the rim and is well suited for regular use. The black finish looks clean and matches most road bikes and training wheelsets.
The 32 mm width adds a bit of comfort on rougher asphalt while still keeping a true road feel. The tube-type design is practical for easy maintenance at home and on the go.
The ETRTO size is 32-622 for 622 mm road rims.
The French designation is 700x32C for common road wheelsets.
The recommended pressure is 4.0 - 6.5 Bar depending on rider weight and surface.
The tire weight is 405 g in the wire-bead version.
Schwalbe Lugano 2 in 32 mm width is a solid road tire for training, commuting, and brisk rides. It offers sensible puncture protection and predictable handling on asphalt.
If you want a stable tube-type tire with a wire bead and clearly defined specs, this model makes sense. In practice, it stands out mainly for its balanced blend of comfort, grip, and durability.
